ironman triathlon[march 6] An Ironman Triathlon is a long-distance triathlon race consisting of a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike and a marathon [26 mile] run, raced in that order and without a break. The amount of people in the world that can say they've completed an ironman distance triathlon is very small - this is an amazing accomplishment, even for an advanced athlete. Come support the team as they tackle this challenge and greet this adventure with fervor and anticipation!
Email cadre@newlifechurch.tv to volunteer. ECO CHALLENGE**CHANGE OF DATES** 247 --> [ca]This program, now known as Cadre Academy, was birthed in 1997 by author and speaker, John Bolin. It has now evolved into several Leadership Schools across the Nation, as well as a sister program in Mexico City, Mexico. Since that inaugural day, over 10 years ago, Cadre Academy has been a mighty tool, changing the lives of many across the world.
SnapshotWeekend [Jan22-24]This Winter, don't miss the opportunity to encounter Cadre Academy! On January 22-24, we'll host our final Snapshot weekend of the school-year. There is no better way to understand what Cadre is about than seeing it for yourself. You'll stayi with our students, and while doing so, get to experience the camaraderie, the challenge, and the adventure this program offers. There will be many opportunities to get to know the staff and students while learning all about the program. Quite simply, the goal of Cadre is to develop Christian leaders who will make an impact in the world. Developing lifestyles of discipline, integrity, humility, service, and character are some of the values our students attain. Cadre is uniquely designed to cultivate these principles to launch students into success wherever God leads. The cost is only $50 and will cover food , t-shirt and lodging, as well as other expenses. The deadline to register is January 18th, so don't delay! We have only 30 spots available, and they will be given out on a first come first serve basis.
Parents, we encourage you to attend the first morning of this event, as we'll be hosting a Q+A session specifically for you, hosted by current/previous students' parents. If you've ever had questions about what this program has to offer your son or daughter, this is a great opportunity to ask the parents who've already experienced Cadre. To learn more about Cadre, I invite you to explore our website [iamcadre.com] and join us on Facebook [facebook.com/nlc.cadre]. Reserve your spot by contacting Melissa [3rd year student] at mkleier@247arkansas.com or 719-338-6112. Feel free to contact her with any questions regarding this event.
