Our team on the bus after landing in Kigali. We brought books for the scholars with Bridge2Rwanda that are studying for their ACT & SAT exams.

Some of the money we raised helped to provide a roof for one of the buildings on what used to be an old military training compound that is now being transformed into a university for theological training. Bishop Laurent Mbanda of the Shyira Diocese is prioritizing pastoral training and education. We actually had the opportunity to train 49 of their pastors on discipleship and small groups while we were there this year!

We spent most of our time in a region called Musanze. We shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ in three villages in one day, also praying for the needs of the people after each service. Hundreds confessed Christ as their savior. We smile knowing their pastors will be plugging them into small groups, increasing their opportunities for transformation and spiritual growth.

We also provided nursing care (thanks Lauren, Megan, and Trena), helped with the construction of a new school building, and taught a few preschool classes.

We fell in love with the people in these villages (the names of the villages are Mukimera, Busogo, Mutera, and Jenda)... and they fell in love with us.
